“We have already identified 25 hectares of land suitable for the project and have our civil engineers on ground. Our plan is to start the construction next week which will take six months to be completed.

“We are hoping to commence production before the end of this year to the tune of 32 metric tonnes per hour and 35,000 metric tonnes per annum,” he said.

He disclosed that the company had already engaged 5,000 farmers under its outgrower programme in Goronyo and Kware local government areas and so far secured 2,000 metric tonnes of paddy rice.

The Groups Executive Director to this end, lauded Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal for his sustained support to the project.

In his remarks, Tambuwal assured the company that the state government would clear whatever impediment for them to hit the ground running.

“We will settle all the compensation latest by Friday and your certificate of occupancy will be ready next week,” he averred.
