The death has been announced of Engr. Felix Bright Uwagboe Omo, who died age 85, in Benin City, Edo State.
Omo was born on April 13, 1932. A German-trained Mechanical Engineer and one of the engineers that built Okpella Cement Factory, he worked for Monier Construction Company, Warri and Port Harcourt for years.
He later set up his own company – Fuwa Nig Ltd, in Port Harcourt, where he settled with his family. He will be dearly missed by family and friends. He is survived by children including Isoken Omo, the Executive Chairman of Edo Development and Property Authority (EDPA).
