The Kogi State Command of  the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has sealed 20 filling stations for hording fuel and also selling above pump price.  The Commandant who went round the State capital Lokoja on Friday visiting some filling stations also warned petroleum marketers in the state against hoarding and selling of petrol above official Government regulated price in the state. The State Commandant of NSCDC Mr. Obiyo Everestus recall that, just last week the command sealed some filling stations in the State for selling above government approved pump price of N145 per litre. He noted that despite series of warning by the Command, some marketers are still  hoarding the product to create another artificial scarcity.  He noted that such action only inflict unnecessary pains on the masses and taking undue advantage of the public, especially during this Yuletide.  The commandant, while condemning this act added that erring petrol station would be made to face the full wrath of law, as he would not condone any act that will bring untold hardship to the public across the state.
