Enugu, the capital city of Enugu State came alive for three days, as notable stars such as Enyinna Nwigwe, Bryan Okwara, Ebube Nwagbo, Melvin Oduah, Marie Claire, Ken Erics, Adaeze Eluke, Chinonso Arubayi and a host of others, stormed the Coal City for this year’s edition of The Wedding Showcase Nigeria.
According to the organiser, Kachy Ugwa, who is also the CEO of Magic White, the exhibition was the melting pot for top Nigerian fashion icons and parades, event, media and logistics vendors from all parts of south-eastern Nigeria and that the 2017 edition was a grand success.
“This year’s edition was three times better. It was held at two notable venues; Golden Royale for the exhibition and business dinner, while the main fashion show was held at the biggest event center in Enugu; The Base Event Centre.
“We had different vendors from all around Enugu and its environs. There were lots of freebies, shopping, interesting fun and games with over 4000 persons in attendance,†Ugwu said.
“We had facilitators, such as the brain behind the Event Market Nigeria and a renowned event expert, Mr. Temitope (TSOULE), financial expert and coach, Mr. Cornel Awgu, the social media expert and radio diva, Mrs. Gloria Emodi (fabulosgloria) and the hair engineer, Ms. Chinyere Okoro spoke on building a brand from scratch, the power of social media and how to sustain and manage our finances,†he added.
The icing on the cake at of the Wedding Showcase 2017 was the Night of Lights – fashion meets runway show, which had designers such as Ejiro Amos Tafiri, Sevondejana all the way from Lagos.
They graced the runway with other delectable indigenous designers in the likes of Ladybeellionaire, Judan Clothing, Bellany and a host of others.
