Firm Moves to Revive ABU Transportation ‎Scheme

‎Galaxy Transportation and Construction Services has promised to revive the transportation scheme in Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria which is already comatose.

Managing Director of the company, Babagana Dalori made the pledge in Abuja after he was conferred “Humanitarian Icon” award by ABU students union representative council.
Dalori who commended the Council for finding him worthy of the award said that there was need to try as much as possible to stimulate greater innovative minds towards growing the Nigerian economy.

According to him, “While I accept this recognition as a humanitarian icon, it is‎ my sincere hope that I will endeavour to enhance and be of great support to Nigerian youth with great abilities and entrepreneurial acumen taking in cognisance with their high ethical values at all times, as well appreciate ‎the greater commitment and of responsibility to the growth of our economy and service to humanity.”

‎He added: “On your request, for proper transportation scheme in ABU, by the grace of God, our company will ensure smooth transportation system is established.
“What we will establish at ABU is going to be in such a way that the beneficiaries of the profit coming from the transport system are students of the ABU‎, because we want to make it in a way that any student who so wishes to invest in that transportation system will buy a seat in the bus, whatever the seat generates, the profit goes to whoever invested fir that seat.

“After period of time when investors must have gotten their profit, we will also come up with a plan where the driver because he has worked so hard, we will make a room for him also to own the bus. It will create an avenue to bring more buses so that the transportation system will be continous

“The buses when they get old we don’t want the old buses to continue running the school, as ‎time goes on we are bringing mote buses and the old buses we will dash them out to the drivers,” Dalori assured.
