Hi Impact Park Plans ’12 Days of Magic’

It’s always summer in Lagos and December is a great time for hospitality outlets to offer services to the multitude ready to have a good time at the end of the year.

For the brains behind Hi Impact Planet, family entertainment goes beyond thrill rides and extends to world-class live concerts. This is reason why the amusement park is expected to host thousands of fun-seekers over the festive season, especially as there are special activities planned under the theme, “12 Days of Magic”.

Stressing that the 12 Days of Magic are not crammed into 12 consecutive calendar days but rather spaced out in consideration of prospective visitors’ yuletide plans, the MD of Solutions Media, the parent company of Hi Impact Planet, Prince Adeyanju Lipede said it was in keeping with the promise of something new every quarter since inception in December 2015.

Elaborating further during the week at park in Ibafo, Ogun State (on the Lagos/Ibadan expressway), Lipede outlined the activities billed to start on December 22 and end January 7.

“The 22nd will feature Karaoke night with 50 per cent off mocktails and cocktails,” Lipede revealed. The Karaoke sessions will feature strictly Africa songs, with the African theme extending to fashion, food and dance.

Other notable days include Santa Claus at the park, another edition of the Praise Blast Concert on the 26th, live band by the pool side on the 28th and the much anticipated Shutdown Concert on December 30.

The concert will feature performances by 2face, Flavour, Vector, Adekunle Gold and Kiss Daniel. The day will also feature an hour of fireworks to celebrate the crossover to the New Year.

Prince Lipede is very particular about what sets Solution Media’s concerts apart. He recounted and replayed previous concerts organized by Solutions Media, some of them in London and Dubai. Their acceptance in such locations is proof of their world class quality, he said.

Interestingly, access to the Shutdown Concert is free for visitors to the park during December; flex tickets admit to popular stands, regular tickets to VIP and residents of the park get VVIP tickets. Tickets are not transferable however.

The Solutions Media boss stated that over time, he has observed how kids have swayed decisions families take, and is confident that the concerts will benefit from attendance to the park and vice-versa.

Touting Solutions Media and Hi Impact’s experience at organizing events for kids, Lipede assured the concert as well as all other activities will be family friendly. Security will be tight and alcoholic drinks won’t be served to minors.

Built on an expanse of 46 acres, facilities at Hi Impact include a clinic, banking services, food courts, and a multi-purpose hall. There are apartments in different configurations (single, studio, two-room and three-room) which accommodates up to 200.

Asides a recently unveiled aqua zone, other options for fun lovers include a wide range of thrilling outdoor rides and exciting indoor games suitable for children, teenagers and families to enjoy.

They include bumper cars, a haunted house, Go-Karts and a 40-metre high Ferris Wheel among many more.
