Creative Thinker at online comic platform, Kolatoons, Mr. Kola Omisore has emerged as the Young Media Entrepreneur at the Lagos Young Entrepreneurs’ Award, for his creative use of words and images to stimulate the imagination of the new generation.
The award ceremony was held recently in Lagos.
Omisore, who is also a Creative Director at marketing communications company, Verdant Zeal Group, told THISDAY he was “shocked†when he heard he had been nominated for the award.
The Lagos Entrepreneur Awards was started in 2014 as an annual entrepreneurship programme in Ojokoro Local Council Development Area and has grown to become one of Lagos’s most respected award platform for young people. “Awards like this don’t come everyday,†Omisore said.
A creative aficionado, Omisore owns a Diploma in Painting and General Art from Auchi Polytechnics and is a graduate of Graphic Art from the Yaba College of Technology. He is an Associate Registered Practitioner of Advertising since 2006 and also a fellow of the Institute of Brand Management of Nigeria (FIBM).
