The Nigeria Air Force (NAF) has commissioned projects at its newly established base in Bauchi.
The projects commissioned include among others, an office complex of the Special Operations Command, the Air Officer Commanding (AOC) residence and some other senior officers’ housing units.
Speaking during the â€Ževent weekend, the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadiq Abubakar, reiterated the commitment of NAF towards the welfare of its personnel to help in discharging their constitutional responsibilities.
Represented by the Air Officer Commanding (AOC), Special Operations Command, Air Vice Marshalâ€Ž Isma’ila Sadiq Kaita, the Chief of Air Staff said: “Thus, all our efforts at repositioning the NAF for better efficiency and effectiveness are pivoted on capacity building initiatives and better personnel welfare.
“This is predicated on the fact that only an Air Force with well trained personnel, equipment and motivation would be capable of fulfilling its assigned roles.”
