NCC, Fidelity Bank, Nedcom Oaks, Stanbic IBTC, Energia LTD, Forttis MFB, Others to be Honoured

Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Fidelity Bank, Nedcom Oaks, Stanbic IBTC, Energia LTD, Fortis MFB, will all be honoured at the 2017 African Entrepreneurs Merit Award, scheduled to hold on September 1, 2017, at Sheraton Hotel, Abuja.

According to a statement made available by the Executive Secretary of the organisation, Mrs. Rosemary Ifekam, since its inception, African Entrepreneurs Merit Award has recognised and celebrated top/emerging entrepreneurs and corporate organisations in Africa with exceptional long-term accomplishments. Nominees and recipients of the award are chosen through a rigorous selection process, starting with a call for nomination from the public through and public option poll.

She also hinted that the awards ceremony will be electrifying as a wide range of guest artistes and performances have been lined up to spice up the arena as government officials, dignitaries, distinguished personalities across Africa and Nigeria will be in attendance.

She said: “The African Entrepreneurs Merit Award is the biggest and most subscribed awards platform in Africa that celebrates and rewards African entrepreneurs, business executives and heads of government organisations contributing to the growth of the African economy.” The African Entrepreneurs Foundation is the leading organisation that represents and promotes entrepreneurs in Africa.

The organisation has grown to earn significant recognition from both public and private sector institutions as the voice of African enterprise and professional excellence in Africa. The organisation has a reach of well over three million strong African owned enterprises cutting across 15 countries with the largest population of young entrepreneurs in Africa making African Entrepreneurs Foundation a driving force in the development of African enterprise.
