The second edition of the ‘Manifesting Him Summit’ held on July 7 with the theme ,“He will perfect…me”. It featured various gospel artistes from veterans like Olufunmi Olajoyegbe (who bagged the Big J Award for Gospel Artiste) to young and upcoming artistes like Funmi Afolarin, Yemilevite Oyeniyi, Gladys and an Acapela group called Da Royalty, among others. It also featured the unveiling of the Big J and company which is a new gospel group.
According to the convener of the event, Tunde Adebola, the programme was set up to provide an avenue for Christians and non-Christians to have fun in a relaxed atmosphere.
Adebola noted that such events provided a refreshing welcome from the hustle and bustle associated with a busy city like Lagos.
“It also provides network opportunities for those seeking to start or expand their relationships across the business community,” he said.
The Manifesting Him initiative is premised on Romans 8:19 and seeks to help Christians overcome their inhibitions to fully manifest the love and wisdom of God in the marketplace.
