The West African Examinations Council (WAEC),has released the results of the 2017 West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination(WASSCE) for school certificate candidates.
As a way of improving on its service delivery to its stakeholders, the council had introduced ‘ #Project60’ in March this year, to reduce the waiting period by candidates for the release of results from 90 to 60days after the conduct of the examination for this diet, and to 45 days in subsequent West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) diets.
The Head of National Office of the Council in Nigeria, Mr. Olu Isaac Adenipekun who disclosed this during its 65th anniversary celebration, said ‘Project 60’ was a huge success in its maiden edition with the conduct, marking, processing and release of the results of the WASSCE for school candidates, because all hands were on deck to ensure the achievement.
He thanked the entire staff, supervisors, invigilators, examiners and other ad-hoc personnel for their dedication, selfless service and immense contributions during the conduct of the WASSCE for School Candidates, 2017 and the marking of the scripts of the examination that guaranteed the success of ‘Project 60’.
