NÂ igeriaâ€™s most prestigious banking proposition for women, One Woman by Sterling Bank, is powering the Sexually Confident Woman programme holding in Lagos this month. The One Woman proposition was introduced by the bank to inspire and empower women to achieve their potential.
The theme and sub-theme of the Sexually Confident Woman programme are â€œSelf-loveâ€ and â€œIâ€™m in love with the shape of youâ€ respectively. It addresses the issue of low self-esteem among women, especially those who are conscious of their weight and are living in self-doubt.
Speaking on the programme, Henry Bassey, Chief Marketing Officer, Sterling Bank said: â€œWe are committed to creating new platforms for the Nigerian woman that addresses real issues she most overcome to enjoy a thriving social life that enables her fulfill her dreams. This explains our support for the Sexually Confident Woman programme which seeks to break the invisible barriers preventing the Nigerian woman from developing to her highest potential.â€

To that end, an array of experts have been lined up to speak on â€œSelf-loveâ€ and â€œIâ€™m in love with the shape of youâ€ to other women. They include Dr. Maymunah Kadiri, a clinical psychologist; Barrister Orbby Agwuncha, a sexologist and Izefua Ehi-Williams, a life coach. Others are celebrity guests, Kate Henshaw, Lepacious Bose and Yeni Anikulapo Kuti.
Apart from the professional speakers, the celebrity guests who are role models, will talk about how they personally overcame their insecurities. They will share wisdom nuggets for the women struggling with insecurity.
Under the One-Woman proposition, the Bank has developed unique value propositions tailored specifically for women.
