Premium Pension Limited, recently rewarded winners of its Reward4DHustle2 promotion campaign just as it has stressed the need for increased awareness on the benefits of the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) in Nigeria especially among the youths.
Managing Director and Chief Executive of the company, Wilson Ideva, stated this recently at the company’s corporate head office in Abuja, during the presentation of prizes to the winners of the above Social Media Campaign sponsored by the company.
The campaign, anchored by Alder Consulting, and carried out on the social media platforms of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn lasted between February 20, 2017 and April 18, 2017.
The campaign, according to the company, has led to increased traffic to these platforms buttressing the dignity in work and the imperative of subscribing to well-packaged pension scheme such as provided by the company if the good life in retirement is to be guaranteed.
Presenting the prizes, Ideva, said: â€œThis campaign goes beyond the quest for increased market share. It is a campaign to promote greater understanding of the workings of the Contributory Pension Scheme and also make it attractive to the youths.â€
He said that the proposed extension of the CPS to the informal sector and inclusion of Additional Voluntary Contribution is a great opportunity for the expansion of the pension industry and enjoined the award winners to secure their future through the scheme.
“It is not everybody that will work in government or the organised private sector; it is through individual efforts as expressed in small and medium scale enterprises (SMEs) that the federal governmentâ€™s drive for diversification of the economy can be actualised.â€
Anifowoshe Segun Johnson, a graduate of English from the University of Lagos and the CEO of Glaberima Cuisine won the grand prize of participating in a management course at the School of Media and Communications at the Pan-Atlantic Universit, an international travel and N50,000.00 Taxify voucher. Salawu Temitope, the first runner-up, won a laptop, printer and modem with three months subscription. Other winners are Mustapha Ibrahim, Yetunde Sarufat Salimon, Oke Charles Ifeoluwa and Nnakwe Johnpaul, who won shopping vouchers ranging from N50,000.00 to N100,000.00.
