Kwara Muslim Pilgrims Board Screens 2,004 Intending Pilgrims‎ for 2017 Hajj

The Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board at the weekend disclosed that it had screened 2,004 intending pilgrims from the state as part of preparation for the 2017 Hajj operation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Executive Secretary of the board, Hajia Fatima Abolore-Jimoh, disclosed this in Ilorin while speaking with journalists on the level of preparation ahead of this year’s hajji operation.

According to her, “The affected 2,004 intending pilgrims screened by the board were selected from over 2,500 who registered on line for the holy trip.”

She added: “There is no age limit for the journey. Aged pilgrims need to be accompanied by their young relations.”
