The federal government has directed that the sum of N10 billion be refunded by the
Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) to the National Broadcasting Commission.
The huge amount was confiscated by EFCC from the NBC.
NBC’s Director General, Modibo Kawu, told journalists yesterday ahead of the Africast Conference that holds next week that the presidential order for the release of the money was to enable the NBC fulfill its digitisation target for next year.
