In order to address management challenges in nursery, primary, secondary and tertiary schools in Nigeria, Norak Technologies has developed a web-based software application for school administration.
The software solution, known as Acadasuite, which could be operated as online or offline solution, is designed to address anything about school management, targeted at reducing waste and encouraging profitability.
Announcing the solutions at a media launch in Lagos recently, Founder and Chief Executive, of Norak Technologies Limited, Enyika Iheanyichukwu, said: “Norak Technologies Limited is an indigenous software company which started in 2015, and has turned out as a customer focused software house in Nigeria, delivering high quality software solutions.
Iheanyichukwu assured school managers that the solution came with all-time support, with complete local content involvement.
He said the solution was developed and tested in Nigeria, before introducing it to the various schools that are currently using the solution in Nigeria.
Software Developer at Norak Technologies, Ohiri Vincent Uche, said the solution is capable of managing general school administration, including students, teachers and parents. He said the solution is also capable of eliminating paper work, thus making school administration and learning, smarter.
Iheanyichukwu, however, clarified that apart from its primary product, Norak Technologies Limited has also helped companies, churches and even government agencies and parastatals to reduce work load by developing tailor made software for them to cushion the effects of the business challenge.
“Today we are proud to say that no school that is using our software has any reason to complain because we are always improving our software with continuous after sales support to our clients,” Iheanyichukwu said.
“Acadasuite, a school management solution, allows schools to save time, cost and human resource to manage and develop schools. The solutIon focuses on the critical functions of running a school effectively. Unlike every other systems, we have proved to many schools that local content is best option than foreign software,” Iheanyichukwu said.
Speaking on the features of the solution, he said it would help to reduce school administrators’ workload and increase their productivity; connect school administrators, teachers, parents and students on a single platform; provide offline and online deployment that can synchronise when connected online. He said the software was developed using high educational standard. He explained that the solution works on e-payment infrastructure, which allows parents to pay for their ward’s school fees online.
“We are Nigerians and we run one-on-one training for schools that acquire our solution,” Iheanyichukwu added.
According to him, the solution would capture resumption and departure time; number of hours worked by teachers and other staff in the system; and number of days at work; and adequate staff monitoring. Others include identification/exposure of ghost workers; identifies number of punctual employees; number of late employees; and number of absent employees.
