The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State has given kudos to President Muhammadu Buhari for the appointment of its members to serve on the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
The former Leader of Senate,Victor Ndoma-Egba (SAN), and Mr. Sylvester Nsa, the deputy governorship candidate of the party in the 2015 general election, were recently nominated by the President to serve respectively as Chairman, and member representing the state on the board of the commission.
According to the party, the appointment of Ndoma-Egba and Nsa was commendable, as they had what it takes to deliver the services required of them to the people of the Niger Delta region and the state.
The party also commended Buhari on the appointment of other persons from the state to serve in other capacities in his administration.
The party made its stance on the president’s nominations known in a press statement it made available to THISDAY in Calabar on Wednesday.
