Unlike most Stanbic IBTC branches visited in the past, this branch which is situated at a busy axis and by the expressway, was busy on the day of observation.
Once you enter the branch, there is a waiting section at the entrance and one customer service personnel up right. There is on the left, a counter with two tellers and two bank’s officials for handle enquiries.
At the time this observation was carried out, a lot of customers were trooping into this branch for various transactions. It was observed that the services both at the teller section and the customer service section were slow. Also, some customers waited for so long before they were attended to because the bank officials were very slow. There is therefore the need for the management of the bank to ensure that customers are attended to expeditiously to avoid keeping them waiting in the banking hall longer than necessary.
