Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly (Senate), Senator Ita Enang, has said that much of the work by President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration this year would focus on road construction.
Answering questions from reporters on Monday in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital, he urged the people of Akwa Ibom and Cross River States to remain calm as the Federal Government has budgeted N6 billion for initial take-off to dualise the Ikot Ekpene-Itu -Odukpani road linking the two sister states.
He posited that the constructions of the road which was long over-due would mitigate the suffering of motorists and commuters passing through the area.
