I Remain Only Experienced Guber Candidate in Kwara for 2027 Elections, Says APC Guber Candidate, Danladi

Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly and  governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress(APC) for 2027 elections, Rt. Hon. Salihu Yakubu Danladi, yesterday, said that he remained the only most experienced gubernatorial candidate for the next year general elections in the state.

Speaking in Ilorin during the personality programme of the Correspondent Chapel of the Kwara State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ) tagged ‘Newskeg’, the governorship candidate said that, “I am the only  person that has supervised the appropriations of the state  for almost seven and half years in the state.

“And the infrastructural and sustainable development projects currently spreading across the 193 wards in Kwara State are carried out through my leadership at the State House of Assembly by supervising the appropriations for the projects.

“Apart from this, my leadership at the House of Assembly has initiated a lot of interventions that had touched the lives of the people during the period under review.”

Danladi stated that “the exposures at this legislative responsibilities couple with the public service have prepared me for the plum position of the state.”

He said, “I have visited all the 193 wards of the through constituency projects commissioning and other interventions and this has prepared my aspirations because it has given me the chance to know the feelings of the people at the local levels.”

He however pledged to ensure the roads, education and healthcare delivery so as to take the state into a greater height come 2027.

“I  know the problems of Kwara and the incumbent governor of the state, Alhaji AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has laid a solid foundation of Kwara State and by the grace of God, I will continue with the good leadership of the governor.

“I am very young to move the state into a greatest destination and I will not do anything that would change the current developmental strides in the state.” 

Danladi who described himself as home boy said that he would ensure the development of rural communities so as to reduce the rural-urban migration in the state.

This development, according to him would go a long way of improving the socio economic development of the rural communities and thereby reducing the poverty among the residents of the state.

Danladi therefore assured the people of the state that if given mandate come 2027, he would accelerate the well-being of the rural populace.
