Aishat Anaekwe Launches Blac Haus

The new live entertainment platform makes its debut on December 15 at Muri Okunola Park, Lagos, with eight DJs, 10 hours of music and no headline act.

After 15 years of building some of Nigeria’s biggest brands and creating memorable consumer experiences, Aishat Anaekwe is taking a new step with the launch of Blac Haus, a live entertainment platform designed to give music lovers a different kind of experience.

Blac Haus will debut with The Frequency on Tuesday, December 15, 2026, at Muri Okunola Park, Lagos. The event will feature eight DJs, 10 hours of music and one stage, with no headline act. The idea is simple: put the music, sound, lighting and overall experience at the centre of the night.

Anaekwe brings a wealth of experience in brand management, partnerships and entertainment to the venture. During her time at Nigerian Breweries, she managed Heineken and worked on global partnerships including the UEFA Champions League, Euro 2020, Formula 1 and James Bond. She also led fan engagement programmes across more than 20 states and played a role in taking Heineken Lagos Fashion Week to its first digital edition in 2020.

She later led Life and 33 Export, working on campaigns that connected the brands with music, football and popular culture. Her other career experiences include Johnson & Johnson, PZ Cussons and Coronation. In 2023, she was named among Brand Communicator’s Top 35 Under 35 marketing and communications professionals.

For Anaekwe, Blac Haus is an opportunity to turn years of experience on the brand side into something of her own.

“I have spent years creating experiences for other brands, and I have always believed that people deserve more than just an event. They deserve a night they can genuinely enjoy and remember. That is what we want to create with Blac Haus,” she said.

The debut lineup includes Berlin-based DJ Kikelomo, DJ Tobzy, Azzi on the Beat, Sunrise, Maze x Mxtreme, K.N.D, WeAreAllChemicals and DJ Fabiyo from Germany.

The experience will feature a specially designed stage, an integrated sound and lighting system, and music that moves from Afrobeats and deep house to Afro tech, freebeat, street-hop and Afro-EDM.

Attendance will be limited to 3,500 guests to preserve the experience. Blac Haus also has a three-year ambition to establish an annual Lagos flagship and expand into international markets.

Tickets start at N20,000, with VIP access at N50,000 and private tables available on request. The event opens at 5 p.m., with music running from 6p.m. to 3a.m.
