Dangote IPO: How Investors Can Subscribe Through Flutterwave

Eligible Nigerians at home and abroad interested in subscribing to the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE Initial Public Offering (IPO) can do so through Flutterwave.

The offer which is ongoing, is open until October 13, 2026.

The IPO, which opened on September 14, comprises 4.1 billion shares offered at N525 per share, with a minimum subscription of 10 shares costing N5,250.

Flutterwave has provided four digital channels through which eligible investors can participate in the offer: its web platform, Flutterwave for Business (F4B), Send App and Owo by Mono.

Through the Flutterwave website, eligible investors can apply directly by selecting the “Buy Shares” option and following the subscription process, a statement explained.

The platform is available to Nigerians whether or not they have an existing Flutterwave account. It also provides an option for eligible investors who may not have an existing bank account.

“Following submission of an application and completion of the allotment process, shares allotted to an investor will be registered in the investor’s name through CSCS/CHN and held through the investor’s stockbroker,” it added.

Existing Flutterwave for Business merchants can also access the Dangote IPO through their F4B dashboard.

“After logging in, eligible investors can select the “Invest in Dangote IPO” tab, choose the number of shares they wish to subscribe for and complete their application. Payment can be made from the available Flutterwave account balance or through other payment options provided on the platform.

“For investors who do not already have a CSCS/CHN account, Chapel Hill Denham will create one as part of the process. Following the close of the offer, the allotment process will determine the number of shares allocated to subscribers. Shares allotted to investors will subsequently be credited to their CSCS accounts held through their stockbrokers, while investors will be notified of their final allotment in accordance with the applicable process,” it stated.

Nigerians living abroad who use Send App can also subscribe to the IPO through the platform.

Investors can log into Send App and select the “Invest in the Dangote IPO” option to begin their application.

“The process requires a Bank Verification Number (BVN) for identity verification. Applicants will also be required to provide additional information, including their next-of-kin details, a bank account in their name for dividend payments and refunds of any unallotted funds, as well as CSCS/CHN details where applicable.

“After reviewing the information provided, investors can select a preferred payment method and complete the payment. Successful payments will result in the IPO application being submitted for processing,” it added.

“Eligible investors who prefer to use WhatsApp can subscribe through Owo by Mono, which provides a conversational application process.
“Investors can initiate a conversation with Owo by Mono on WhatsApp and follow the prompts to access the Dangote IPO.

“The process involves providing the required personal information, selecting the number of shares to be subscribed for and completing payment. Once payment is successfully completed, the application will be submitted for processing.

“With the four digital channels, eligible investors can participate in the Dangote IPO through a website, Flutterwave for Business, Send App or WhatsApp,” it stated.
