Inside Seinde Signatures Advent Calendar Box

Premium niche fragrance retailer Seinde Signature has unveiled its Super-Luxury Advent Calendar box for the 2026 Christmas season.

An Advent calendar is traditionally used to count down to Christmas, with a new surprise revealed each day. For Seinde Signature, that surprise comes in the form of a curated collection of 12 fragrances from international niche fragrance houses, conceived by the brand’s owner, Olaseinde Olusola.

The fragrances come in different sizes, ranging from 15ml to 100ml, with some of the sizes specially created for Seinde Signature.

“You can hardly find some of the sizes in the market,” says the luxury brand’s COO, Oreoluwa Olusola.

The selection brings together 12 international niche fragrance houses, including Masque Milano, Agatho, Electimuss, Sarah Baker, Christian Provenzano, Fugazzi, Régalien, Pana Dora, 100BON, Jeroboam, Alghabra and Botanicae.

According to Olusola, the idea is for customers to open the box each day as they count down to Christmas, turning the fragrance collection into a daily experience.

The new Advent Calendar is the second from the brand. Seinde Signature launched its first edition last year, but this year’s collection takes the concept further with a super-luxury offering.

Two hundred boxes are planned for this year, with 20 already pre-ordered. Styled like a suitcase, the boxes come in three editions: gold, silver and bronze.

Depending on the edition and its contents, the combined retail value of the fragrances would ordinarily range from about N3 million to N4.5 million. The Advent Calendar, however, is being offered for less than N2 million. Olusola said this is partly made possible by the long-standing relationships Seinde Signature has built with some of the luxury fragrance houses, including Electimuss and Sarah Baker.

Those relationships have also resulted in collaborations that allow Seinde Signature to create fragrances carrying its own identity. One of the latest is its partnership with Electimuss London on Alkout, an oud fragrance originally created to celebrate the independence of Kuwait.

Known for its distinctive bottle bearing the Kuwaiti flag, Alkout has cultivated an aura of exclusivity among oud enthusiasts.

Under the new partnership, the fragrance will take on a Nigerian identity. From October 1, 2026, to mark Nigeria’s Independence anniversary, the bottle will feature the country’s green and white colours, while the fragrance itself will receive a refined interpretation influenced by Seinde Signature Nigeria.

For Olusola, working with luxury niche fragrance houses to develop exclusive products is also a response to the proliferation of counterfeit fragrances in the market. By creating distinctive products and collaborations, the brand hopes to give customers greater confidence in what they purchase.

The Advent Calendar is currently available for pre-order.
