Jennifer Okenyi Builds JNwany a Fashion Connections Across London and Belfast

Fashion designer and creative director Jennifer Okenyi is expanding her presence across the UK fashion landscape through runway presentations, creative collaborations and community-focused initiatives.

Founder and Creative Director of JNwany, Jennifer Okenyi began her fashion career in 2017. Her recent work reflects both sides of her professional identity: developing JNwany as a fashion label while creating opportunities for other designers and creatives.

In February 2026, Jennifer Okenyi presented a 10-look JNwany collection in London through Fashion Synergy during the London Fashion Week season. The presentation added to the brand’s growing visibility, with JNwany also receiving editorial exposure through publications including Darling Magazine and Arrant Magazine.

The label is scheduled to return to London in September for another runway presentation, continuing Jennifer Okenyi’s work of presenting JNwany to new fashion audiences.

Away from her own runway presentations, Jennifer Okenyi is also behind the Belfast Emerging Fashion Showcase, taking place on September 5 at Malone House in Belfast, UK.

The initiative brings together designers, models, fashion graduates and creative professionals, creating a platform for runway exposure, portfolio development, networking and greater visibility for fashion talent across Northern Ireland, the wider UK and Ireland.

Community and creative collaboration is central to the project. The showcase has developed collaborations with Glow NI and Black Diamond Initiatives, alongside participation from fashion graduates from Ulster University.

The initiative comes at a relevant time for British fashion. The British Fashion Council’s BFC 2030 strategy has placed greater emphasis on UK-wide participation and strengthening connections between fashion education, industry and regional creative communities, contributing to a wider conversation about fashion opportunities beyond London.

Jennifer Okenyi’s work across London and Belfast reflects that changing landscape.

While JNwany provides the platform for her work as a designer, the Belfast Emerging Fashion Showcase demonstrates another aspect of her growing industry profile — bringing creatives together and creating opportunities that extend beyond her own label.

With a London runway presentation completed in February, the Belfast showcase approaching in September and another JNwany presentation scheduled in London later that month, Jennifer Okenyi is building a fashion profile that connects design, industry visibility and creative community.
