For close to five decades, the legendary socialite, Erelu Abiola Dosunmu,  has occupied a special place in the nation’s social firmament. Society Watch gathered that the highly influential businesswoman, known for never doing anything by half measures, a few weeks ago celebrated her new age aboard a luxury cruise ship with an exclusive circle of family, friends and associates.

Sources disclosed that the week-long celebration took place at the iconic Champs-Élysées in Paris, reaching its peak with a lavish lunch on the River Seine, where she treated guests to fine dining and an afternoon of merriment against the backdrop of the romantic city.

Insiders, however, insist that this lavish celebration is merely a curtain-raiser. The real spectacle, they say, will come next year in July when the evergreen queen of style turns 80.
