Amstel Malta Hails Falcons on Victory over Egypt, Urges Focus on Cameroon Test

Amstel Malta has congratulated Nigeria’s Super Falcons on their commanding 6-2 victory over Egypt, describing the performance as a fitting reward for the team’s resilience and determination after a difficult start to their 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) campaign.

The cup holders produced an attacking master-class to seal their place in the quarter-finals, where they will face familiar rivals Cameroon.

The result completed an impressive turnaround for the Super Falcons, who bounced back from an opening defeat to Malawi with consecutive victories over Zambia and Egypt to book their place in the knockout stage.

Amstel Malta also celebrated the contribution of its brand ambassador, Asisat Oshoala, who opened the scoring from the penalty spot, setting the tone for Nigeria’s dominant display. Goals from Gift Monday, Uchenna Kanu, Christy Ucheibe, captain Rasheedat Ajibade and Joy Omewa completed an emphatic win.
