Hazibian International Launches Zibian Farms

Lagos, Nigeria In response to Nigeria’s growing need for sustainable investment opportunities and increased agricultural productivity, Hazibian International Limited has officially unveiled Zibian Farms, an innovative agribusiness initiative designed to transform land ownership into a productive, income-generating venture.
The initiative introduces a new model that enables clients who acquire agricultural land through Hazibian International to immediately begin structured farming activities on their properties, creating opportunities for long-term wealth generation while contributing to national food production.
The launch represents a strategic shift from conventional land investment, where plots often remain idle for years, to a system where every parcel of land has the potential to create economic value from the moment it is acquired.
Nigeria is home to more than 70 million hectares of agricultural land, yet a significant portion remains underutilized. Agriculture contributes approximately 22–25 percent of Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and employs more than one-third of the country’s workforce, making it one of the nation’s most critical sectors. Despite this enormous potential, access to structured agricultural investment remains limited for many urban professionals and first-time investors.
Hazibian International believes Zibian Farms offers a practical solution.
“Our vision has never been limited to helping people buy land,” said Terah Melford, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hazibian International Limited.
“We are building an ecosystem where land ownership becomes productive ownership. Through Zibian Farms, our clients are not just investing in appreciating assets they are investing in food production, economic empowerment, and generational wealth. We want every acre purchased through Hazibian to become a catalyst for prosperity.”
Unlike traditional real estate offerings, Zibian Farms combines land acquisition with a guided agricultural development framework. Clients receive access to structured farming opportunities, professional support, and practical guidance that enables them to participate confidently in commercial agriculture regardless of their previous farming experience.
The initiative is expected to appeal to a broad demographic, including working professionals seeking passive income opportunities, diaspora investors looking to participate in Nigeria’s agricultural economy, retirees interested in productive investments, and families seeking long-term financial security.
Industry experts have consistently highlighted agriculture as one of the sectors capable of accelerating Nigeria’s economic diversification beyond crude oil. With rising food demand, increasing urbanisation, and greater emphasis on domestic production, initiatives that connect private investment with agricultural productivity are becoming increasingly important.
According to Hazibian International, Zibian Farms was conceived not merely as another farming project but as a sustainable platform capable of addressing three major national priorities: increasing food production, creating employment, and enabling inclusive wealth creation.
“Our objective is simple,” CEO added.
“We want to remove the barriers that discourage many people from entering agriculture. Whether you are a young entrepreneur, a civil servant, a business owner, or someone in the diaspora, you should be able to own land and confidently begin your farming journey with professional guidance and a structured support system.”
Beyond financial returns, the initiative seeks to stimulate rural development by encouraging productive land use, supporting local farming communities, and strengthening Nigeria’s food value chain. As more investors participate, Hazibian International believes the model will contribute to greater agricultural resilience while unlocking new economic opportunities across the country.
The launch of Zibian Farms also aligns with the Federal Government’s broader objectives of improving food security, encouraging private-sector participation in agriculture, and promoting sustainable rural development.
By integrating real estate with agribusiness, Hazibian International is positioning itself at the intersection of two sectors widely regarded as pillars of Nigeria’s future economy. The company believes that this approach offers investors not only the security associated with land ownership but also the opportunity to generate tangible value through agricultural production.
As the company expands its footprint, Zibian Farms aims to build a nationwide community of landowners who are committed to productive investment, environmental sustainability, and national development.
