ACAOSA President Felicitates Old Boys at College’s 75th Anniversary

The Worldwide President of the Aquinas College Old Students Association (ACAOSA), Otunba Sola Adewumi, has extended heartfelt congratulations to all Aquinarians at home and in the diaspora, as St. Thomas Aquinas College, Akure, marks its 75th anniversary.
In a felicitation message issued on behalf of the worldwide Executive Council and the entire ACAOSA family, Otunba Adewumi described the milestone as a celebration of seven and a half decades of academic excellence, character formation, integrity, leadership, and outstanding contributions to society by generations of Aquinarians across the world.
“This remarkable milestone is a celebration of seven and a half decades of academic excellence, character formation, integrity, leadership, and outstanding contributions to society by generations of Aquinarians across the world,” he said.
The ACAOSA president used the occasion to pay tribute to the founding fathers of the institution, as well as past and present administrators, teachers, staff, and all alumni whose sacrifices and commitment have sustained the legacy and values of Aquinas College over the decades.
Otunba Adewumi noted that the 75th anniversary presents a significant opportunity for reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment to the continued growth and development of the alma mater. He also described it as a time to strengthen the bonds of friendship, brotherhood, and service that unite Aquinarians worldwide.
Wishing all Aquinarians a joyous and memorable celebration, the worldwide president charged members to continue upholding the ideals of excellence and integrity for which the college has long been renowned.
“May we continue to uphold the ideals of excellence and integrity for which our college is renowned,” he said.
St. Thomas Aquinas College, Akure, founded in 1951, is celebrating its Platinum Jubilee under the theme: Celebrating 75 Years of Excellence, Integrity, and Service.
