Hope Circle Foundation has launched the School2School Teens Summit, a youth-focused intervention designed to equip young Nigerians with the tools needed to navigate the digital age responsibly.

The maiden edition of the summit brought together over 100 secondary school students at D’Cherub School, Ajah, Lagos, for conversations on digital literacy, personal development, leadership, and future opportunities.

The Convener of Hope Circle Foundation, Hope Odabi, said the initiative was created as a direct response to the increasing influence of social media on young people and the urgent need for structured guidance.

“We cannot leave the next generation to navigate the digital wilderness alone.

“School2School is a deliberate intervention designed to step directly into classrooms, shift the narrative for teenagers, and turn social media from a source of distraction into a powerful tool for economic and personal growth,” she said.

The summit featured keynote sessions by media entrepreneur Deji Onadeko and education advocate Olawale Samuel, who challenged students to embrace discipline, purpose, and innovation.

A major highlight of the event was the unveiling of Odabi’s new book, Social Media Is A Whole Lot More: The Teen Guide to Building Your Future.

Each student was given a complimentary copy to reinforce lessons learned during the summit.

Award-winning music star Spyro also made a surprise appearance, encouraging students to stay focused on their goals and make positive choices despite societal pressures.

Odabi disclosed that the initiative will be expanded to reach more schools across Nigeria, creating a sustainable framework for digital literacy, mentorship, and youth development.
