Victory Wilson Wins MTN MIP Fellow of the Year 2026 Award

Multi-award-winning broadcaster, media personality, and mental health advocate, Victory Wilson, has been named MTN MIP Fellow of the Year 2026 at the prestigious MTN Media Innovation Programme (MIP) Awards.


The award recognises her outstanding contribution to using media as a powerful platform for mental health advocacy, impactful storytelling, youth empowerment, and advancing emotional wellbeing across Africa. Wilson’s work through “The Victory Wilson Show” has consistently broken stigma, sparked honest conversations, and provided healing spaces for millions of viewers.


A senior television anchor at Silverbird Television, Victory Wilson is also the Executive Producer and Host of The Victory Wilson Show — a programme dedicated to personal growth, trauma recovery, and mental health wellness that airs every Sunday, 6:30pm (WAT) on DSTV CH 252, GOTV CH 121, STARTIMES CH 109 and Youtube reaching millions of viewers. She is also the host and producer of The Amazing Kids Show. Nigeria’s largest children’s talent and development platform that airs live on RhythmFm and Silverbird Television every Saturday at 10:00am (WAT) and reaches millions across the country.
