The Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has launched a new Intelligence Unit aimed at strengthening public safety and enhancing information gathering across the state.
According to the Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of LSSTF, Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, all citizens
can now report suspicious activities, share photos and videos, as well as send security related information through the LSSTF Security Tip Lines: 0911 019 5555 and 0916 201 1179.
Ogunsan further explained that the dedicated lines are not meant for emergency situations, but strictly for intelligence gathering and strategic security planning.
He urged residents to provide only accurate and verifiable information, warning that false or malicious submissions would be treated in accordance with the law.
Dr. Ogunsan also assured members of the public that the identities of informants would remain confidential, describing the initiative as a collaborative effort between government, security agencies, and citizens towards building a safer Lagos.
LSSTF is a public-private partnership established to compliment the effort of FG in facilitating safety & security in Lagos State since 2007.
