LEADERSHIP REDEFINED: BEATRICE ANACHUNA HONORED AT NELA 2026 FOR ADVOCACY AND PUBLIC INFLUENCE
ABUJA – In a high-octane gathering of Africa’s most influential minds, the STP Apartments Congress Hall became the epicenter of excellence on March 27, 2026, as the National Excellent Leadership Award (NELA 0326) celebrated the trailblazers shaping the continent’s future.
The prestigious event, a strategic collaboration between The Professional Public Speaking and Leadership Academy (PPSLA AFRICA) and The African Award Group (AAG), serves as a rigorous screening platform to identify and honor individuals whose societal contributions are nothing short of transformative.
Opening the ceremony, Dr. Lotanna Okoye, Director General of PPSLA AFRICA, delivered a stirring charge to the nominees. To view their accolades not as final destinations, but as fuel to further their societal contributions.
The intellectual rigor of the afternoon was elevated by Dr. Aloefuna Ekenechukwu, President of the Information Management and Commodity Grading Institute. In his keynote lecture, “Restoring Institutional Confidence: The Leadership Mandate for Transparency and Accountability,” Dr. Ekenechukwu provided a blueprint for CEOs and entrepreneurs to bridge the gap between high-impact delivery and ethical governance.
Among the distinguished cohort of honorees—which included notable figures such as Faith Grace Adeyemi, Hon. Obiajulu Princess Ugwu, Dr. Okpaleke Ifechukwu Ambrose, and Dr. Engr. Uchenna Mbata—the conferral of the Excellent Leadership Award in Advocacy and Public Influence upon Beatrice Anachuna stood as a testament to a career built on the rare intersection of corporate discipline and humanitarian heart.
Anachuna is a legal powerhouse with a Master’s degree in International Corporate Governance and Financial Law from the University of Wolverhampton. Her reputation in Nigeria’s financial sector is anchored in her expertise in regulatory compliance and strengthening governance structures for major corporate institutions. As a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Security and Forensic Studies, she has become a standard-bearer for ethical oversight and risk management.
However, it is her role as a “family-life advocate” and “transformational community leader” that has captured the public’s imagination. As the Founder of Family Rebuilders Outreach, Anachuna has spent over a decade championing the belief that the family unit is the foundational pillar of any stable nation.
A certified mediator and counselor, Anachuna’s advocacy extends to the protection of children and the restoration of family values. Her mentorship programs and social-impact initiatives have created sustainable support systems for vulnerable populations across the development space.
