FoodCo Rolls Out Easter Savings Campaign Across 23 Stores
FoodCo, a Top-3 retailer and operators of the largest supermarket chain brand in South-West Nigeria, has unveiled plans for its 2026 Easter Savings Campaign.
The Easter Savings Campaign offers customers extensive discounts across a broad selection of groceries, household essentials, toiletries, and seasonal items. It will run from March 31 to April 6 across all twenty-three FoodCo stores in Ibadan, Lagos and Abeokuta.
Funmi Aiyepeku, Chief Commercial Officer of FoodCo, stated that the campaign reflects the company’s long-standing tradition of leveraging available touchpoints to connect with its customers. This is in addition to strengthening its commitment to providing quality, variety, and value in a single shopping experience.
“Easter is a special time for families, and this campaign is our way of ensuring that FoodCo customers celebrate without worrying about the rising cost of everyday essentials. It reflects our commitment to making quality products accessible at prices that work for household budgets. The campaign further seeks to establish the positioning of FoodCo as the retail partner that offers great prices and hot deals every day and not just during promotional seasons,” Aiyepeku said.
“Celebrations often begin before Easter and continue through the holiday period. The Easter Savings Campaign allows us to support customers throughout the stretch of stocking up, preparing and entertaining during the festivities. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, many of whose families have shopped with us for decades. This initiative is one of the ways we continue to express our appreciation for that loyalty,” she added.
Founded in 1982, FoodCo is a diversified consumer goods company with interests in retail, quick service restaurants, manufacturing and entertainment. With 23 stores and over 2000 employees spread across Ibadan, Lagos and Abeokuta, the company is a significant contributor to the economy of South-west Nigeria in the areas of job creation and providing access-to-market opportunities for SMEs and small businesses.
FoodCo has been ranked in the Financial Times’ ranking of Africa’s Fastest Growing Companies for the years 2021, 2022 and 2025.
