Expert Lauds IGP Disu’s Security Efforts in Kwara

Security expert and Chief Executive Officer of Western Eagle Security Ltd, Mr Mogaji Busayo, has commended the Inspector-General of Police, Tunji Disu, over what he described as the Police Chief’s “decisive operational leadership” in the fight against crime in Kwara State.

Busayo noted that the IGP’s recent strategic engagements in the state have strengthened the security architecture while restoring public confidence in the police.

Speaking during a security engagement in Kwara State, Busayo stated that the IGP has supervised security clearance operations targeting suspected bandit hideouts and criminal enclaves, while also conducting operational inspections and strategic reviews at the Kwara State Police Command.

He added that the operational gains recorded under the current police leadership underscore the need for stability and continuity in the leadership of the Nigeria Police Force, while urging Nigerians to focus on ongoing reforms targeted at building capacity to combat crime and improve national security.

While expressing confidence in the IGP’s determination to reclaim communities affected by banditry and kidnapping, he described the Police Chief as a “tested officer” whose professional experience and field record have earned him a coveted place at the centre of Nigeria’s ongoing battle against insecurity.
