Knowledge as Capital: How Dexta Africa Is Raising Industry Standards at Three

In fast-growing markets, industries rarely struggle because of a lack of opportunity. More often, the real challenge is maintaining strong standards, ethical practices, and continuous professional learning. Nigeria’s real estate sector, valued at over $20 billion continues to grow rapidly, but that growth also highlights the need for better training and stronger professionalism across the industry.

As Dexta Africa marks its third anniversary, the company is choosing to celebrate in a meaningful way: by investing in knowledge and professional development. The idea is simple, a stronger industry begins with better informed professionals.

Nigeria currently faces a housing deficit estimated at over 20 million units, while cities like Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt continue to expand as demand for housing and property investment grows. As the sector evolves, the importance of transparency, ethical practice, and proper training becomes even more critical.

Recognizing this early, Dexta Africa launched its educational platform, Dexta Clan, in 2025. The initiative focuses on equipping real estate practitioners with practical knowledge in areas such as client advisory, property finance, documentation standards, and long term investment strategy. Within its first year, the program trained hundreds of professionals working within the industry.

On March 13, 2026, Dexta Africa further strengthened this effort by hosting a Professional Certification Training at the Enterprise Development Centre of Lagos Business School, where participants explored topics such as ethical real estate advisory, proper documentation, market intelligence, and sustainable property investment.

Three years after its founding, Dexta Africa is expanding its focus beyond property development to people development. By investing in education and professional standards, the company is helping shape a more credible and responsible real estate industry, one where knowledge, trust and professionalism remain at the center of every transaction.
