Nigerian-born Afrobeats artist AM VBYZ is looking beyond borders as he outlines an ambitious five-year vision that includes global touring, meaningful collaborations, and establishing a sound that reflects both his roots and evolution.

Currently based in the UK, the artist sees himself growing into an internationally recognised creative voice one that represents African culture while embracing global influence.

“In five years, I see myself established, touring, and creating music that travels beyond borders,” he says. “I want my sound to represent both my roots and my evolution.”

Collaboration is a key part of that future. He expresses admiration for artists who prioritize authenticity and emotional depth, including fellow Nigerian Afrobeats star Omah Lay. However, he remains open to working with creatives globally who value culture and originality.

For AM VBYZ, success is not defined solely by charts or hype cycles, but by resonance and impact. His aspiration is to create music that makes listeners feel seen and strengthened particularly during difficult seasons of life.

The artist’s steady, introspective approach contrasts with the often fast-paced music industry, but he believes that longevity requires patience.

“I move with intention, not rush,” he says. “I don’t try to be loud to be heard I let the feeling speak for itself.”
