SHIGHT Running Club delivered an inspiring performance at the recently concluded Access Bank Lagos City Marathon, showcasing endurance, community spirit, and strong brand partnerships on one of Africa’s biggest marathon stages.
For this year’s edition, SHIGHT Running Club partnered with oraimo to keep members powered throughout their race experience. Participants ran with the oraimo Watch Nova 2 and oraimo Watch 6, alongside other essential running gear, enabling accurate distance tracking, performance monitoring, and overall race-day efficiency. The collaboration ensured that members were fully equipped to perform at their best across both race categories.
Club members competed in the 42KM and 10KM races, joining thousands of runners in what has become one of Nigeria’s most anticipated sporting events. The marathon once again highlighted the energy, resilience, and vibrancy of Lagos State, drawing athletes and spectators from across the country and beyond. The club extends its appreciation to the organizers and the Lagos State government for successfully hosting another remarkable edition.
On the 42KM course, standout Shight running club Lagos members performances came from Fabusola Babatunde, who crossed the finish line with an impressive time of 3:03:24, and Makinde Olabanji, who completed the race in 4:24:21. These results were officially recorded on the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon portal, reflecting the dedication and months of preparation invested by the club members.
Beyond performance, SHIGHT Running Club made a bold statement in style and functionality. Members showed up in the new ShightVault SS26 Olive Collection — a range thoughtfully designed for running comfort and optimized for Lagos’ weather conditions. The collection combines performance-ready design with clean aesthetics, reinforcing SHIGHT commitment to merging sport, culture, and fashion.
Overall, the marathon was more than a race for SHIGHT Running Club — it was a celebration of discipline, partnership, and community growth. With strong finishes, innovative support from oraimo, and a unified team presence, the club continues to build momentum within Nigeria’s running culture.
As the season progresses, Shight Running Club remains committed to fostering consistency, collaboration, and excellence both on and off the track.
