“The Husband Blueprint” Book Launched in Lagos: A Call to Nation-building Through Responsible Manhood and Stronger Families.
Lagos came alive with purpose and inspiration on 15th February 2025 as The Husband Blueprint was officially launched at a well-attended ceremony held at Glory House, Ogba-Ikeja.
The book was jointly unveiled by Rev. Dr. Taiwo Lemoshe, Lead Pastor of God’s Chamber Global Ministries, and Mrs. Shileola Ibironke, Managing Director/CEO of Micromedia Group of Companies.
They were joined by the author, Emmanuel Ekundayo Owolabi, alongside his wife, Nelly Owolabi, as friends, faith leaders, professionals, and family members gathered to celebrate the milestone.
Beyond the unveiling of the book, the author also inaugurated a counseling hub for intending and married couples, codenamed Intentional Marriage Program (IMP). The initiative is designed to provide structured guidance, mentorship, and practical support for singles preparing for marriage and couples seeking to strengthen their unions.
The Husband Blueprint presents a compelling perspective on marriage, redefining husbandhood as a responsibility rather than an office. Drawing from sociological insight, counseling experience, and pastoral practice, the book challenges men to become mature leaders, positive influencers, and dependable gatekeepers in their homes.
Speaking at the launch, Rev. Dr. Taiwo Lemoshe commended the author for addressing a critical societal gap, emphasizing that strong families remain the bedrock of national development. Mrs. Shileola Ibironke also praised the project, describing both the book and the newly launched IMP as timely interventions for restoring values in contemporary marriages.
In his address, Emmanuel Owolabi described the project as more than a book launch, calling it “a nation-building movement aimed at raising responsible husbands, stabilizing families, and strengthening society.” He further highlighted plans for ongoing counseling, mentoring, and outreach programs through the Intentional Marriage Program.
The event concluded with prayers, goodwill messages, and networking among attendees, marking the beginning of what many described as a transformative journey for marriage education and family development in Nigeria.
