Limestone Acquires AI-powered CRM, Oxypu, to Transform Community Management across Africa

By Salami Adeyinka

Limestone, an African platform for community and facility management, has acquisition Oxypu, an artificial intelligence driven CRM and operational intelligence company.

This was its strategic move to redefine how communities are managed across Africa.

The acquisition brings Oxypu’s technology and team fully into the Limestone ecosystem and marks the official launch of Limestone AI, a new intelligence layer designed to power smarter, safer, and more automated community operations, strengthening its long-term mission to improve how people live and work in African estates, residential communities, and managed facilities.

With the integration, Limestone is positioning itself as a category leader in intelligent community infrastructure combining security, operations, and communication with advanced AI-driven decision-making.

Why Limestone Acquired Oxypu

According to Limestone, the decision to acquire Oxypu followed extensive market analysis that revealed Oxypu’s AI capabilities created significantly for more impact when embedded directly into a vertical platform like Limestone, rather than operating as a standalone horizontal CRM product.

By consolidating both platforms, Limestone aims to accelerate innovation while delivering deeper value to estate managers, property developers, and facility teams.

“This is not a retreat; it’s a concentration of strength,” said Mr. Ifeanyi Aneke, Managing Director and CEO of Limestone. “Oxypu built an exceptional intelligence engine, and we are incredibly proud to welcome their team and technology fully into the Limestone family by unifying our products and teams, therefore creating a clear category leader. Limestone AI will set a new standard for secure, intelligent, and hyper-efficient community operations in Africa.”

What Limestone AI Will Power

Oxypu’s AI engine will immediately enhance several Limestone products, including StoneCircle, Stone Community, and Stone Security, unlocking a new wave of intelligent features such as:

  • AI-Powered Resident Assistance: Automated, intelligent responses to resident inquiries and support requests.
  • Operational Intelligence & Smart Routing: Faster issue resolution through intelligent ticket routing and data-driven operational insights.
  • Smart Alerting & Predictive Insights: Real-time and predictive alerts for security incidents, operational risks, and community events.

Together, these capabilities are expected to significantly reduce response times, improve decision-making, and enhance safety and service delivery across managed communities.

Full Integration, No Layoffs
Limestone confirmed that the acquisition represents a full integration of people, technology, and operations.

All Oxypu employees including Engineers, Product Managers, Sales, and Marketing staff will transition into Limestone with full employment continuity. The company emphasized that there are no hidden layoffs associated with the acquisition.

As part of the transition:
Oxypu’s standalone product will enter an internal sunset phase.
Existing Oxypu customer engagements will be migrated to the Limestone AI platform.

The Oxypu business entity, VWT, will be dissolved.

“The greatest asset in this acquisition is the talent and expertise of the Oxypu team,” Mr. Aneke added. “Their deep knowledge of AI and CRM, combined with Limestone’s market traction, is a powerful combination. We are now one unified structure, focused on building the future of intelligent communities.”

A Bigger Bet on Africa’s Digital Communities
The acquisition signals Limestone’s broader ambition to build intelligent infrastructure tailored to Africa’s unique community and estate management challenges where reliability, security, and operational efficiency are critical.

By embedding AI deeply into its platform, Limestone is betting that the future of African community management will be proactive, automated, and data-driven.
