Akpoazaa Group Marks Osinachi Igbojindu’s Birthday with Full Scholarships for Two Indigent Children

On Monday, January 5, 2026, the Akpoazaa Group marked the 10th birthday of Osinachi Igbojindu, first son of the Group Managing Director, Dr Frank Igbojindu, with a purposeful act of compassion that speaks volumes about legacy, leadership, and humanity.

The celebration was deliberately anchored on service to humanity, as two children Chidimma Great and Chibuikem Wisdom Great, from a severely disadvantaged home in Umudaraegwu Ubahu Okija in Anambra state had their educational journey permanently secured. The children, who had already benefited from a three-year scholarship under the Akpoazaa Foundation, saw their support upgraded and converted into a full-fledged scholarship up to university level.

The scholarship package was also expanded to cover:

  • School uniforms
  • School bags
  • Educational and learning materials

According to Dr Frank Igbojindu (PhD), the gesture was not just about celebrating a birthday, but about teaching a living lesson.

“This is my way of showing my son what service to humanity truly means. Celebration must translate to impact, and impact must secure the future of others,” he stated.

Dr Igbojindu further noted that Osinachi has been fully supportive of his humanitarian efforts, often encouraging and standing with him during outreach programs. He described his son as very intelligent, smart, humble, and down to earth, adding that Osinachi is the overall best student in his school and consistently represents with excellence and discipline.

“Despite his brilliance and achievements, he remains humble. That combination of excellence and humility is what gives me confidence that he understands why we give,” he added.

Community members present described the initiative as visionary parenting and responsible leadership, noting that it sets a strong example of how personal milestones can be transformed into platforms for social change.

As Osinachi Igbojindu clocks 10, his birthday stands not just as a personal celebration, but as a living classroom where compassion was taught, practiced, and institutionalized—turning a child’s milestone into a lifetime opportunity for others.
