Nwabunike Urges Gratitude to God for Life after Lagos Fire Incident

The National President of De Imperial Philanthropic Family, Darlington Nwabunike, has called for calm and reflection following a tragic fire outbreak that consumed two of his commercial properties in Lagos, leading to the loss of valuables worth billions of naira and the death of a tenant.

In an interaction with Dr. Frank Igbojindu, Nwabunike described the incident as painful, stressing that the loss of human life remains the most distressing consequence of the inferno.

According to him, material possessions are replaceable, but human life is sacred and irreplaceable, noting that gratitude to God for life should remain paramount even in moments of great loss.

“Life is the ultimate gift. As long as one is alive, there is hope for recovery, restoration, and a better tomorrow,” he stated.

He expressed appreciation to friends, associates, and well-wishers for their prayers and show of solidarity, which he said have provided strength and encouragement during the difficult period.

Nwabunike also offered prayers for the departed soul and extended his condolences to the family of the deceased, while urging Nigerians to embrace compassion, unity, and faith in God amid challenges.
