Stephen Achema Delivers Hope with 6,000 Bags of Rice

Thousands of families across Kogi State and Abuja celebrated Christmas 2025 with renewed joy and relief, thanks to the generosity of Engr. Dr. Stephen Achema Akpa, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Zoe New Dawn Nigeria Limited and Rehoboth City Estate. In one of the largest private food interventions of the season, Dr. Akpa distributed more than 6,000 bags of rice to households in need.

The distribution was carefully planned: 1,000 bags went to his staff, another 1,000 to non-staff beneficiaries, while 4,000 bags were shared among communities in Kogi East. Residents described the gesture as a timely intervention that eased the burden of rising food costs during the festive period.

Dr. Akpa’s philanthropy has become a consistent source of empowerment. Through the Enemona Foundation, he has provided direct financial support, giving ₦250,000 each to 25 beneficiaries in October and November 2025, and expanding the initiative in December with ₦6 million disbursed to another 25 individuals. His ₦5 million Facebook giveaway further extended his reach, ensuring 1,000 online beneficiaries received ₦5,000 each.

Beyond humanitarian efforts, Dr. Akpa remains a strong advocate for Igala culture, sponsoring events that preserve traditions and strengthen unity. His entrepreneurial footprint is equally visible, with thriving real estate projects in Abuja’s prime districts including Jahi, Kukwaba, Life Camp, Lugbe, and Gwarinpa, all noted for modern infrastructure and sustainable designs.

Community leaders hailed his Christmas outreach as a symbol of compassion and solidarity. By combining grassroots distribution with digital empowerment, Dr. Akpa continues to redefine philanthropy, leaving an enduring legacy of hope and transformation across Kogi and Abuja.
