Olashore: Nigerian-British Golf is a Celebration of Partnership, Friendship, Sportsmanship

The President of Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC), Mr. Abimbola Olashore, has described the recently concluded Nigerian-British Golf Tournament as a celebration of partnership, friendship and sportsmanship.
Olashore stated this last Thursday during the dinner and award ceremony night that marked the chamber’s successful hosting of the 11th edition of the golf competition.
He said: “The Nigerian-British Golf Tournament has continued to strengthen relationships within the business community, blending sportsmanship, excellence, and collaboration in a relaxed yet competitive atmosphere.”
The 11th edition of the tournament attracted the participation of 25 corporate teams that represented their various companies.
The highlights of the tournament included the recognition of four corporate teams that took first four positions.
These teams were the Dormai Signs, which won the first position with 83 points and the Southgate Technologies that came second with 82 points.
Others were the Graceco, which took the third position with 81 points while the fourth position went to Megamond Limited that scored 77 points.
The winner In the Women’s Category, was Mrs. Yemi Oyewo, who emerged as the Individual Stableford Winner.
Oyewo demonstrated her remarkable skill and consistency by recording 29 points over 15 holes.
The winner of the Men’s Individual Stableford category was Mr. Hakeem Ishola (Handicap 13), who posted an impressive 32 points to secure his place as the top-performing male golfer.
Olashore also extolled the tournament’s friendly competition, camaraderie, and memorable moments, adding that the 11th edition delivered an exciting and highly competitive experience.
