Andefikir Ephraim Arumse Appointed Special Envoy for Digital Cooperation to the ECOWAS Commission

The International Forum for Peace and Diplomacy (IFPD) has announced the appointment of Andefikir Ephraim Arumse as Special Envoy for Digital Cooperation to the ECOWAS Commission, marking a significant step in strengthening regional collaboration on digital transformation and innovation across West Africa.

Andefikir Ephraim Arumse is a seasoned technology leader, product owner, and business development expert with over a decade of experience in the African and global technology ecosystem. His professional journey spans software development, fintech, blockchain and Web3 solutions, digital infrastructure, and enterprise platforms designed to support economic inclusion and cross-border collaboration.

He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Alphatech Hub Integrated Services Ltd and Nexaflex Global Resources Ltd, companies that have delivered scalable digital solutions across multiple African markets. His work has consistently focused on aligning technology with policy, trade, financial inclusion, and workforce development.

Over the years, Mr. Arumse has contributed to large-scale digital skills and empowerment initiatives, particularly for youth and women, and has played advisory and implementation roles in Digital Free Trade Zone (DFTZ) frameworks aligned with the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) objectives. These initiatives are aimed at positioning African states to compete effectively in the global digital economy.

In his role as Special Envoy for Digital Cooperation, Andefikir Ephraim Arumse will support the ECOWAS Commission by advancing:
