By Tosin Clegg
Drawing inspiration from Nigeria and its diversities, Urbanfit Africa has just released options of Nigerian Fans Jersey ahead of the African Cup of Nations scheduled to hold this December. The new designs was crafted to clebrate the Nigerian team by wearing gear that represents the Nigerian spirit. The Naija fan jersey is more than just a sports emblem; it’s a representation of culture, heritage, and the beautiful unity as a nation.
According to Tiamiyu Adeyinka, the Creative Director of Urbanfit Africa he pointed out that, “We crafted a design that embodies the spirit of unity in diversity. Symbols and monuments from across the nation are intricately woven together: the Arewa knot stands for unity; the Omu Igbo emblem reflects strength, wealth, and royalty; while the Oodua symbols honor ancestral lineage and cultural richness. At the heart of the design, the confluence of the Niger and Benue rivers reminds us of the strength found at the meeting point of differences.”
“The UrbanfitAfrica jersey is not just apparel; it is a story stitched into fabric, a celebration of identity, and a bridge between tradition and modern expression.” Adeyinka added.
AFCON is a moment of national pride and unit as the jersey is more than just sportswear. It is a wearable emblem of Nigerian pride, an invitation to carry heritage boldly, and a symbol of NIGERIA’s enduring spirit that resonates with the world.
