Renewable Firm, XGT Smart Consults Joins COSSCCIMA Executive Council at 2025 AGM in Benin City

XGT Smart Consults has been officially appointed to the Executive Council of the Coalition of South–south Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (COSSCCIMA), as the Corporate Vice President, Renewable Energy. The appointment was made during the 2025 Annual General Meeting and Investiture Ceremony hosted by the Benin Chamber of Commerce (BENCCIMA).
This milestone marks a strategic expansion of XGT Smart Consults’ role in regional policy, renewable energy advocacy, and sustainable industrial development across the South–South region.
As an Executive Council member, XGT Smart Consults will drive initiatives in:
• Renewable energy deployment
• Electricity access for MSMEs and industrial hubs
• Blue Economy innovation
• Climate-smart infrastructure
• Private-sector policy advocacy.
During the AGM, Engr. Raphael Harrison, Executive Director of Innovation and Strategy, delivered a technical presentation showcasing scalable renewable-energy solutions for urban, industrial, and rural communities, emphasizing affordable electricity, industrial transformation, and investment attraction.
The event hosted prominent dignitaries, including the Executive Governor of Edo State (represented by the Commissioner for Trade and Investment), Engr. Jani Ibrahim, NACCIMA National President, Hon. Austin Atakpo, COSSCCIMA President, Hon. Indutimi Komonibo, outgoing President, Dr Billy Gillis-Harry, Chairman, COSSCCIMA Board of Trustees, and other chamber leaders across the South–South region.
