Amstel Malta Unveils First-Ever Festiville in Aba

Amstel Malta, the malt brand from Nigerian Breweries Plc, has announced the maiden edition of Amstel Malta Festiville in Aba, rounding off its three-city festive light-up tour that illuminated Enugu, Port Harcourt, and Aba ahead of the holiday season. The event will run from December 23 to 27.

The full-scale festive village is designed to immerse families and communities in a blend of music, art, entertainment, and seasonal experiences. Highlights include the Amstel Malta Grotto, a soulful Christmas carol night, as well as a dedicated Kids’ Playground and Games Arena to ensure visitors of all ages enjoy the festivities.

Described by the brand as a “festive wonderland,” Festiville aims to capture the warmth and togetherness of the Christmas season, offering families a space to reconnect and create lasting memories.

The launch forms part of the brand’s “Be Your Best All Season Long” campaign. It is part of Nigerian Breweries’ broader Legendary Christmas initiative, which celebrates homecoming, joy, and community bonding nationwide.

Speaking on the significance of the light installation tour across the three host cities, Sarah Agha, Marketing Director, Nigerian Breweries Plc, said this year’s activities serve as a reminder of the need for Nigerians to show up for one another during the festive period.

“December is not just a date on the calendar; it is a time when distance no longer matters, when families come home to reconnect, share meals, settle differences, and celebrate as one,” she said. “So, when we asked ourselves how we could make this season even more meaningful, the answer was clear: we would light up cities across the country. And we are a company that has the credibility to do this because our footprint spans across Nigeria.”

Each lighting ceremony attracted popular personalities, including Stan Nze and Natacha Akide (Tacha), dignitaries, government officials, cultural leaders, residents, and visitors who applauded the brand’s commitment to enriching public spaces and creating memorable festive moments.

In addition to the Street Light Up tour and Amstel Malta Festiville in Aba, Amstel Malta will also be present at the Lagos Food Fest, a vibrant culinary and entertainment experience happening at Muri Okunola Park on December 14, 2025.
