INBRID Strengthens MSME Capacity at 2025 Abeokuta Business Summit, Unveils Grant Beneficiaries

INBRID Global has once again demonstrated its commitment to reshaping Nigeria’s small business landscape with the successful hosting of the 2025 Abeokuta Business Summit, a capacity-building forum that equipped entrepreneurs with practical tools for resilience, growth, and long-term sustainability.

The summit, which convened founders, ecosystem leaders, professionals, volunteers, and young innovators, focused on tackling the most pressing challenges confronting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)—from limited funding access to operational bottlenecks and rising business costs.

Speaking on the impact of the programme, INBRID’s Principal Consultant, Godwin Adekoya, described the summit as a strategic intervention for the Nigerian business community. “This summit was designed to move entrepreneurs from struggling to structured, and from surviving to scaling. Our goal is to ensure that every business we touch becomes stronger, smarter, and better equipped for the realities of today’s economy,” he said.

True to its mission of strengthening business capacity through research-backed systems and structured support, INBRID delivered targeted sessions, practical workshops, and expert-led masterclasses that provided more than 15 participating businesses with customized guidance on strategy, scaling, and system development.

A major highlight of the event was the announcement of the finalists for the INBRID Grant Program. These emerging enterprises will undergo intensive training on business modeling, documentation, and investor readiness as part of a broader effort to unlock early-stage capital for entrepreneurs across Ogun State.

The summit featured deep-dive sessions in brand positioning, cashflow mastery, digital transformation, legal structuring, and workforce optimization—areas many MSMEs struggle with despite contributing over 45% to Nigeria’s GDP. Stakeholders noted that these sessions offered clarity and practical direction, helping business owners identify gaps and implement sustainable solutions.

More than 2,000 entrepreneurs registered for the event, with a significant portion attending physically and others joining through virtual masterclasses. Attendees commended the summit for broadening their knowledge, expanding their networks, and opening doors to partnerships and visibility.

INBRID emphasized that its efforts go far beyond one-off events; the organization aims to build a more resilient MSME ecosystem through continuous support, community engagement, and localized business development initiatives.

With the success of the 2025 edition, the Abeokuta Business Summit further cements INBRID’s position as a leading force in empowering Nigerian entrepreneurs and shaping a future marked by innovation, structure, and economic opportunity.
