Federal Ministry of Women Affairs’PRS Department Visits InduzeTech Foundation for Assessment and Program Evaluation

TheInduzeTechFoundation,aleadingnonprofitchampioning digital literacy and computer science education for young peopleacrossNigeria,onMonday1December2025

welcomedofficialsfromthePlanning,ResearchandStatistics (PRS)DepartmentoftheFederalMinistryofWomenAffairsto itsAbujaheadquartersforanorganizationalassessmentand evaluation visit.

ThedelegationwasledbyAniMaryroseAnulika,UdehJuliana and Alaba Olugbenga, who conducted a comprehensive reviewoftheFoundation’sdocuments,programstructure,

andimpactactivitiesacrossthecountry.Theofficials

examined the organisation’s digital skills initiatives, women- focusedinnovationprograms,andcommunityimpactmodel aimed at empowering girls and young women through technology.

Duringtheengagement,thePRSteamcommendedtheFoundation for its active presence in 20 states and its

commitment to strengthening digital education in secondary schools. They praised its volunteer-driven workforce, innovativeGirlsinTechclubs,essentialsofcomputing,digital literacyawarenessprograms,anditsbroadermissionto

ensurethateveryNigerianchild—especiallygirls—hasaccessto computer science education.

TheMinistryalsoprovidedstrategicguidancefor

strengtheningtheFoundation’sreachandinclusiveness.

OfficialsadvisedInduzeTechFoundationtoexpanditstarget

beneficiariestoincludeyoungerlearnersinPrimary5and6, aswellasJSS1students,notingthatearlyexposuretodigital skillsiscriticalfornationaldevelopment.Furthermore,in

mixedschools,theyemphasizedtheimportanceof

maintaininganequalratioofboysandgirlstoensuregender- balanceddigitalempowerment.

RepresentingtheFoundationweretheFounderNwabueze Chilaka,ProgramsOfficerDr.AmbaEkure,andTechnical softwareLeadCletusFrancisUdoh.

The Foundation provided updates on its upcoming program “techbridge”,includingplanstoextendoperationsto additional states and scale digital learning resources through schoolandcommunitypartnerships.TheMinistryencouraged the organisation to seek opportunities for recognition and

collaborationwithinternationalagenciessuchasUNICEF, UNESCO,andotherglobaldevelopmentpartners.

Speakingaftertheassessment,thePRSdelegationexpressedsatisfactionwiththeorganisation’szeal,structure,andimpact potential. They reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote women’s empowerment,

childdevelopment,andsafedigitalpracticesnationwide.

TheInduzeTechFoundation,initsremarks,reiteratedits

dedication to delivering inclusive technology education and buildingagenerationofdigitallyempoweredNigerianyouth.
