Edala Homes Donates Security Post to Amotekun, Strengthening Safety Along the Moniya–Ijaiye–Iseyin Corridor
In a strong demonstration of corporate responsibility and community partnership, Edala Homes, one of Oyo State’s fast-growing real estate development companies, has donated a fully furnished security post to the Amotekun Corps. Strategically located along the Moniya–Ijaiye–Iseyin Road, the new post is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing surveillance and safeguarding lives and property across the axis.
The commissioning and handover ceremony drew key dignitaries, including the Commandant of Amotekun in Oyo State, senior representatives from Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Yusuf Ali of the Local Government Service Commission, the Divisional Police Officer of Ijaye, and esteemed chiefs from the Onijaye Palace. Their presence underscored the importance of the project and its significance for the rapidly developing region.
Speaking at the ceremony, Temidayo Oloyede, CEO of Edala Homes, reaffirmed the company’s dedication to supporting secure and thriving communities.
“This project reflects our commitment to building a safe and thriving community. We were also privileged to host distinguished guests at the commissioning ceremony,” he said.
The company’s COO, Samuel Olatunde, highlighted the broader vision behind the initiative, grounding it in Edala’s philosophy of responsible growth.
“As we build homes and estates, we also build the ecosystem around them — and security is at the heart of that ecosystem. This security post is our contribution to ensuring that residents, commuters, and businesses in this corridor feel protected,” he noted.
For the Amotekun Corps, the gesture represents a boost to operational capacity. The Commandant praised Edala Homes for leading by example in supporting community safety.
“We appreciate Edala for this timely and thoughtful donation. This facility will enhance our ability to respond swiftly to incidents and maintain peace in this axis. It is encouraging to see private organizations step forward to support security efforts in the state,” the Commandant said.
The newly handed-over security post is fully equipped to support 24-hour surveillance and rapid response, strengthening security resilience along one of Oyo’s most critical and fast-growing road networks.
With this contribution, Edala Homes continues to position itself not just as a developer of properties but as a builder of communities — integrating safety, infrastructure, and social impact into the foundation of its work.
